For more than 30 years, the workspace of Jordan Cowman, BA ’85, JD ’88, Life Member, has centered around the desk that once belonged to Edward A. Clark, LLB ’28, Life Member, who was a trusted confidant of President Lyndon Johnson and known as the “secret boss” of Texas politics. While at UT, Cowman was the personal driver and mentee of the late Clark, who passed away in 1992 and left Cowman with his historic workspace, which once hosted private strategy sessions with LBJ. Today, Cowman is a global legal advisor at Greenberg Traurig in Dallas.
