Longhorns Team Up with “Art for Autism” in Support of Clay’s Color Crew
A 4-foot piece of Texas Toast, a 5-foot cassette tape, and an 8-foot-tall pair of nunchucks are among the oversized pop art sculptures made and sold by painter Ken Womack, BFA ’86, Life Member, in an “Art for Autism” initiative in support of the nonprofit Clay’s Color Crew. Formed in 2024 by Texas All-American Colin Simmons and his mother Monica McCarley, Clay’s Color Crew takes its name from Colin's brother Clayton's love of colors, and provides resources and activities for high-energy kids on the spectrum in South Dallas and beyond.
