A Texas Toast From a Glasgow Pub

You never know where you'll meet a Longhorn—or the Flying Longhorns for that matter. On a trip to Scotland, Jacqueline Gray, Life Member, and her daughter were visiting a tiny pub in Glasgow when in walked a group of people in Longhorns gear and Flying Longhorns nametags. The groups immediately greeted each other like long lost friends. It turns out that one traveler, Ruben Garza, MA ’82, PhD ’01, Life Member, even lives near Jacqueline's daughter. Luckily, Alcalde staff photographer Matt Wright-Steel was on hand to help document the moment.
