UT Brothers Spin a Yarn with Sew Torn

Socratis Zavitsanos, BA ’23, and Diamantis Zavitsanos, BA ’23, are producers of the film, Sew Torn, a thriller released in theatres in May 2025. The film follows a struggling seamstress faced with a deal gone bad and the opportunity to call the police, walk away, or abscond with a mysterious briefcase. The movie explores the repercussions of all three choices, and made its world premiere at South by Southwest in 2024. The Zavitsanos twins also co-directed the micro-doc Two of Five Million in 2017 and narrative short films Sharing is Caring and Confined.
