Maggie Jackson, BJ ’10, Life Member, was crowned Mrs. California America 2025 by the California America Pageants on May 10, and will compete for the Mrs. America crown on Aug. 27, 2025.

Jackson is an advocate for mental health awareness who plans to use her platform to elevate her Your Mind Matters initiative—a program focused on providing resources and eliminating the stigma around mental illness, suicide, and seeking therapy.

A familiar face for many, Jackson owns her own media company and has appeared as a health and wellness enthusiast on morning shows across the U.S. She volunteers on the executive board for the nonprofit Circle of Friends and with the La Cañada Elementary PTA. At UT, she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha and the Texas Pom Squad.

Jackson also attended the UTLA program in Los Angeles, where she was introduced to working in news and television, and where she met her husband, a fellow native Texan.
