A Longhorn Leads the World’s Largest Network of Independently Run Schools

One of the world's largest and most highly regarded operators of schools for the poor, the Citizens Foundation (TCF), is led by president and CEO, Syed Asaad Ayub Ahmad, MBA ’86. TCF makes a profound impact by educating more than 300,000 students a year in nearly 2,000 schools in the most impoverished communities of Pakistan. In communities without paved roads or electricity, TCF manages a network of nearly 2,000 high-quality schools and is also Pakistan's largest private employer of women—with an all-female faculty of 14,000.
