Longhorns Celebrate Trek Across the Camino de Santiago

John McCalla and Susie Jones McCalla, BA ’76, completed the Camino de Santiago in two separate trips in the fall of 2021. Susie serves as the co-coordinator of the Alamo Chapter of the American Pilgrims on the Camino, and all three of their children are UT grads: John Michael McCalla, BA ’02; Kevin McCalla, BA ’08; and Kelly McCalla Salazar, BS ’09; as well as son-in-law Samuel Salazar, BA ’06.
