Family of Longhorns Celebrate in Laredo

A family of Longhorns celebrated the union of Alejandra Urrabazo-Martinez, BS ’08, and Angel Martinez, BS ’09, on Feb. 27, 2021, at the St. Patrick Catholic Church and Alejandra’s family home in Laredo.

The wedding party included Alejandra’s sisters, Claudia Urrabazo, BA ’09; Elizabeth Urrabazo-Velasquez, BA ’02; Veronica Urrabazo, BS ’07; and Yolanda Urrabazo, BA ’04.

The couple are college sweethearts who met at UT in 2005 and wed during a historic year, tying the knot the week after a hundred-year storm.
