Longhorns and Aggies Unite to Drive for Scholarships

The Texas Exes Caldwell County Chapter was honored by the Lockhart ISD School Board for their support of the Gig ’Em & Hook ’Em Golf Classic. Caldwell County chapter member and past president David Kristynik, BS ’62, Life Member, and his Aggie counterpart accepted medals on behalf of their alumni organizations.

The tournament celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2019 and has raised over $80,000 for scholarships given to students headed to the two Texas flagship universities. The 11th Annual Gig ’Em & Hook ’Em Golf Classic is already in the works for May 2020.
