Chance Reunion Proves Why We Wear Name Tags

At the Hill Country Texas Exes Independence Day gathering at Spicewood Vineyards, David Dale, BBA ’84, Life Member, met a fellow Longhorn parent in a wonderful coincidence.

Wearing his name tag, he was spotted by Hope Hamilton, Life Member, who said, “David Dale? I know David Dale.”

Turns out she was great friends with both his mother, Judy, and late father, Dale Sr., BBA ’55, LLB ’57, during their time at UT and afterwards while raising kids in Houston.

They stopped for a quick photo to commemorate the occasion, along with David's daughter, Shelby, and niece, Paige Tenneson.
