Longhorns Reunite Off the Beaten Path in Mindo

While hiking through a remote area in Mindo, Ecuador, known for its waterfalls, Rick Chen, BS ’02, Life Member, spotted an Astros hat in the distance and decided to say hello. Under the hat happened to be a friend from UT, Katie Herbek, BA, BS ’06, who was also off the beaten path, trekking in Mindo, which is about two hours away from the capital city of Quito, Ecuador.
