Mack Brown to Lead Coaches Association
Mack Brown didn’t exactly have the easiest season in 2012, but he ended on a high note with his team’s victory over Oregon State in the Valero Alamo Bowl. Now Brown has one more piece of good news: he’s just been elected president of the American Football Coaches Association for 2013.
More than 11,000 football coaches at all levels—from high school to the NFL—are members of the association. Harvard’s Tim Murphy is the outgoing 2012 president.
In a press release, Brown called the role “something I’m really looking forward to.”
