Longhorn Towering Over Texas
Edward Torres, BS ’67, Life Member, is still climbing mountains. Last time he was featured in fan mail, he stood above everyone else in the contiguous United States. Now he is pictured with his horns up above everyone in Texas on top of Guadalupe Peak, the highest natural point in Texas. The peak stands at a formidable 8,751 feet tall in the Guadalupe Mountain Range which spans from west Texas to southeastern New Mexico.
