A new podcast that explores the life and legacy of the late Lloyd Bentsen, LLB ’42, Life Member, was created with a trove of never-before-heard audiotapes uncovered by his family years following his death in 2006.

Titled The Bentsen Blueprint, the six-episode series offers insight on Bentsen's five-decade career in politics—as a U.S. senator, secretary of the treasury under President Bill Clinton, and as the 1988 Democratic vice-presidential nominee.

The project is a collaboration effort between Bentsen's children, Lloyd Bentsen III, Tina Bentsen, and Lan Bentsen, BA ’69, Life Member, as well as granddaughter Kate Bentsen and Texas Tribune reporter Elise Hu.
