UT Student Wins Marie Claire Runway Challenge
Just a few weeks ago, UT chemical engineering senior Diya Liu competed in the first-ever Marie Claire Front Row College Challenge for the chance to intern with the magazine and two other big companies.
Competing against three other college students from across the nation, Liu was responsible for compiling her own runway show, choosing everything from the makeup and outfits worn, to the music and venue.
And her hard work paid off—Liu has officially been named the challenge’s winner!
Anyone who attended her Nov. 18 show on the rooftop of The Mohawk Austin knows this win was well deserved. The stylish In Her Stilettos blogger infused the entire runway production with her eclectic style, mixing textures and adding a bit of pizzazz to each outfit with chunky, eye-catching bracelets.
Liu, who is graduating tomorrow, will have the opportunity to intern in NYC next summer, though her goal is to start a career in patent law.
