Flying Longhorns Escape Texas Heat With Trip To Scotland
There are a lot of reasons to travel with the Flying Longhorns: we stay in nice hotels, we cut to the front of lines, and we visit historic and interesting places with knowledgeable and friendly guides.
It’s also nice just to escape the Texas heat. A cadre of Flying Longhorns recently swept into Scotland, what you might call the Texas of the United Kingdom.
Luckily, the group had several legit photographers, one of whom, Susan Cook, set up her tripod and staged this shot in front of an old structure in merry old St. Andrew.
The trip to Scotland lasted nine days, with jaunts to Loch Ness, Loch Lomond, Edinburgh, Stirling, and St. Andrew. Twenty-five Flying Longhorns made the journey; none regretted it.
There wasn’t time for golf, but we did sample lots of Scotch. Sometimes, as you can see, we even wore jackets. Gasp!
