Clark Field Being Upgraded, Dedicated to Lacrosse

Have you noticed? Since mid-July, Clark Field, just south of the San Jacinto Residence Hall, has been fenced off. Construction crews have removed the field and track, and there’s lots of digging.

The field is being upgraded with artificial turf, new track, new exercise equipment, and a second bridge across Waller Creek.

The renovation has been donated by a yet-to-be-announced UT booster and philanthropist with a big interest in lacrosse.

The new field is to be ready in November and will be the home turf for the UT men’s and women’s lacrosse clubs next spring.
