Flying Longhorns Host Epic Toga Party on Essential Europe Trip

Visiting nine countries in 25 days would be an impressive feat for contestants on The Amazing Race, much less for anyone else. A group of 44 recent UT graduates went out to prove that it’s not only possible, but also a whole lot of fun.

“Only recent college grads have the stamina and enthusiasm to soak in so many sites, sounds, and drinks in such a short amount of time,” says Texas Exes student relations coordinator Taylor Nyberg.

Whether they were stopping at world famous landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, or simply dining underneath a beautiful sunset sky in Germany, Nyberg says the group saw one beautiful sight after another.

The highlight for many was the final night of the trip, when the graduates all donned togas for a party on a Greek island. The group capped off the night by singing The Eyes of Texas for all of Greece to hear.
