A Longhorn Leads the Way at the Texas Burn Survivor Society

Sara Coon, BA ’10, Life Member, pictured bottom right, is an Austin firefighter who co-founded Camp Ax, a fellowship camp for young adults which has visited UT’s campus over the years, including trips to the Union Underground and UT Tower. Coon was inspired by the work of Sue Dodson, BA ’73, who is the executive director of the Texas Burn Survivor Society, a charity that hosts the weeklong Camp David for children ages 7-16 at their pediatric burn camp each summer in Kerrville.
