This Longhorn’s Art Selected for Ambassador’s Residence in Equatorial Guinea

Three abstract oil paintings from Maxine Graham Price, BFA ’59, Life Member, were selected by the U.S. Department of State’s Art in Embassies Program to be exhibited at the Ambassador’s Residence in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, at the special request of Ambassador David Gilmour, MM ’84, and his wife Judith Martin Gilmour, BA ’86. It was Price’s second time selected to exhibit with the Art in Embassies Program, and several of her portraits also hang on the UT campus, including those of Peter Flawn, Lee and Joe Jamail, and William “Tex” Moncrief.
