Impromptu Pre-Game for Top-10 UT vs. UT Showdown

Sadie Cornelius, BS ’05, and Sara Eckert, BBA ’96, Life Members, traveled to Knoxville in January 2023 for the showdown of #10 Texas vs. #4 Tennessee in men’s college basketball. Before the game, they found themselves among a group of fellow visiting Longhorns in an impromptu Texas Exes gathering at the Graduate Hotel’s Saloon 16. Sadie and Sara are close friends who met met through the Texas Exes Washington D.C. Chapter, of which Sadie served as president, and take any chance to see the Longhorns on the East coast, traveling to Texas matchups versus Maryland, West Virginia, and VCU.
