Alumni Behind Skelly Build Celebrate 5 Years of Unique Construction
Diana (Siminski) Skellenger, BS ’12, made a distinct career change after working in marketing for an Austin home renovator. She is now celebrating the 5-year anniversary of Skelly Build, the business she founded in 2017 which now employees 16 people, more than half of whom are women.
Skelly Build has been steadily growing and proudly operates as a unique construction firm, utilizing Skellenger’s communication skills and led by multiple project managers and specialists. Diana’s husband, Sean Skellenger, BBA, MPA ’11, Life Member, joined the business as COO in 2018. The couple met at UT and were married in 2015 and have two children. Diana’s sister also works with Skelly Build as the inspections manager.
