LBJ Memorial Unveiled in Houston
On Aug. 6, 2021, the City of Houston unveiled a statue dedicated to America’s 36th president, Lyndon Baines Johnson, at Little Tranquillity Park. Johnson’s daughter Luci Baines Johnson, ’67, Life Member, appeared along with Charles C. Foster, BA ’63, LLB ’67, who spearheaded the project for more than five years. Foster previously initiated efforts to create the George Bush Presidential Monument and James A. Baker III Monument, both in Houston.
