Longhorn Couple at the Forefront of COVID-19 Response
AshBritt is playing a pivotal role in Texas’ response to the COVID-19 pandemic, under the leadership of CEO Brittany Perkins Castillo, JD ’13, and her husband and AshBritt’s global director Gerardo Castillo, BA ’02, MA ’16. They are pictured above with Pamela Northam, the First Lady of Virginia, during her visit to one of AshBritt’s mass vaccination clinics.
In Texas, AshBritt provided the Austin, Laredo, and Lubbock areas with field hospitals and infusion sites which also providing jobs to local residents. Beyond the state of Texas, their operations have facilitated the administration of more than 1 million vaccines and employed 1,750 local individuals in their respective communities.
