Incoming Longhorn Sells Record 10,000 Boxes of Girl Scout Cookies

Marillah King is a high school senior and incoming McCombs freshman who sold more than 10,000 boxes of Girl Scout cookies, a record for the Girl Scouts of Central Texas Council. King is pictured with her grandparents, Frankie, BS ’69, and Annette Stone, BA ’97, Life Members, who had the honor of purchasing her 10,000th box yesterday at her booth in front of the UT Co-op. Part of the money raised from her sales will help fund the need-based campership program she started last year.
