Longhorn Crew Takes to the Skies

Captain Robert Torn, BBA ’78, Life Member, and first officers Laura Nealon, MBA ’16, and Timothy Stone, BA ’06, Life Member, all pilots at a major US airline, found themselves flying a trip together this fall. The crew flew to Tokyo twice, followed by Singapore, and then back to Seattle.

While attending UT, Torn was a UT Air Force ROTC cadet, while Stone was in the UT Naval ROTC. Stone actively serves as a lieutenant commander flying with the U.S. Navy Reserves, while Laura serves as a lieutenant colonel with the U.S. Air Force Reserves.
