Waco Exes Celebrate Successful Scholarship Fundraiser

The Texas Exes Waco Chapter finished a successful 2018 scholarship fundraising campaign. The seven-week campaign included a “Lunch with Longhorns” event with guest speaker and Texas Exes president-elect, Nancy Seliger, BBA ’83, Life Member, as well as a silent auction, happy hour, and many other small, live events. The fundraising concluded with a family BBQ at the Hardway Ranch in McGregor, Texas, operated by Markham Dossett, Life Member. The highlight of the final event was an up-close and personal visit by Markham’s longhorn herd. All scholarships for the 2018-19 year will be awarded in memory of Bill Miller, past president of the Waco Chapter.
