Longhorn Celebrates 25 Years in Business with True Texas Shindig

2017 was a big year for International Biophysics and its founder and CEO, H. David Shockley Jr., BA ’85, Life Member. The company celebrated its 25th anniversary in May with a true Texas shindig at the Salt Lick, featuring local musician Dale Watson and his band, along with armadillo races, a mechanical bull, and Longhorn steers.

International Biophysics is a local, homegrown medical device company that manufactures and sells medical devices globally. Many of the employees have been with the company since day one, something Mr. Shockley is very proud of.

David and his wife Melissa, pictured above with Dale Watson, are living in Austin and are regulars at Longhorn baseball and football games.
