From Texas to Tanzania

Gary Polland, BBA ’72, JD ’75, and Esther (Slipakoff) Polland, BA ’71 , MEd ’72, Life Members, along with their son, Hal Polland, recently traveled to Tanzania, Africa. While there they visited a Massai village and met with Chief Ole Dorop and his clan, located in the Ngorongoro Conservation area of Tanzania. The chief was taught how to get his horns up and was also gifted a Longhorn T-shirt and a Texas flag that flew over the Texas State Capitol. Gary is a practicing attorney in Houston and Esther is a community volunteer.
