Navy ROTC to Celebrate 75 Years on Campus
The Navy ROTC unit will celebrate its 75th anniversary in November 2015 with its 29th-annual alumni reunion, held at the James Mulva ROTC Center atop the Center for Liberal Arts (CLA) building, their fifth home on campus since the fall of 1940. The weekend will be filled with golf (Navy vs. Marine Corps), alumni awards and guest speaker dinners, barbecue, a home football game, and the awarding of nearly $70,000 in scholarships and officer swords to the midshipmen and officer candidates of the UT NROTC unit.
