Mack is Back... On Twitter

Former UT head football coach Mack Brown has found something to keep himself busy following his December resignation: tweeting!

Since he joined the social media site in September 2012, Brown—using the handle @UT_MackBrown—has repeatedly shown his penchant for inspirational quotes, often sharing sayings from greats like Nelson Mandela, Vince Lombardi, and President John F. Kennedy.

Now that he's got a bit more time on his hands, Brown seems to have given his feed a more personal touch, from weighing in on the Florida State-Auburn championship matchup in real time to reminiscing about his own Rose Bowl quests in 2005 and 2009.

Brown's time spent in the Twitterverse reaffirms one thing: He's the same affable guy that the Longhorn community has grown to love over the past 16 seasons. "Never been to a tail gate [sic] before," he joked last night. "That will be fun. I can learn to like that."

Below, take a peek at what else Brown has been sharing with his 53,000+ Twitter followers.
