Building the Texas Bookshelf with Stephen Harrigan [Podcast]
Author Stephen Harrigan, BA ’70, is poised to pen the first installment of the Texas Bookshelf, an ambitious project from UT Press that aims to publish 16 volumes about everything Texas—from the Alamo to football.
Stephen Harrigan is the author of nine books of fiction and non-fiction, including The Gates of the Alamo, which became a New York Times bestseller and Notable Book, and has written for Texas Monthly, The Atlantic, The New York Times Magazine, Life, National Geographic, and Slate.
