Representing UT at the Suez Canal

Dave Loveless, BA '01, carried a UT flag aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise, where he served in the Navy. He tells us this photo was snapped in summer 2011 in the middle of the Suez Canal.

Loveless was a member of the Judge Advocate General's Corps on the aircraft carrier. "This photo was taken on her next-to-last deployment, and on our way back home after six hard months at sea," he says.
