When is a food fight a good thing?

When it pits the Texas Exes Houston Chapter and the Houston Aggie Chapter in friendly competition—all to prepare almost 18,000 meals for the needy.

More than 50 Houston-area Longhorns turned out for the Sept. 4 event, where they sorted and wrapped donated food items into meal-sized packages.

“It was an amazing success,” says Texas Exes chapter coordinator Suzanne Tamas, Life Member.
