Texas-Kansas Game Will Be Shown on Longhorn Network
Not only will tomorrow’s Rice game be shown (for those who can see it) on the Longhorn Network, Texas’ Oct. 29 matchup with the Kansas Jayhawks will be as well.
Big 12 commissioner Dan Beebe blessed the arrangement for an intra-conference game to be shown on the Longhorn Network, despite misgivings by some schools in the Big 12 who were reluctant to have their fans watch their team on the opposition’s TV channel.
LHN is the exclusive national distributor for the UT-KU game, according to a press release from the network, except in Kansas, where the game will also air on select stations yet to be determined.
Texas has played Kansas 10 times since 1901 and leads the series 8-2.
