Longhorn D. J. Grant Named National Tight End Performer of the Week
Junior tight end D. J. Grant has been named a National Tight End Performer of the Week by the College Football Performance Awards.
In Saturday’s UCLA game, Grant set personal records for touchdown receptions (three), receptions (six), and yards (77).
A native Austinite, Grant sat out the last two seasons with a knee injury. ESPNU ranked him as the 16th-best overall prospect out of 150 top players in the nation.
