Fort Worth Chapter Gets Schooled by Football Insider
Football recruiting guru Gerry Hamilton, who has written about recruiting for ESPN, 247 Sports, Rivals, and Scout, dropped by the Fort Worth Texas Exes Chapter’s Kickoff event on Aug. 31 to talk about the Longhorns’ strategy and outlook this season.
Hamilton predicted that the Longhorns will finish the season with eight wins and five losses. He also predicted that wide receiver Jaxon Shipley will be named a Freshman All-American.
“It’s a much anticipated event each year to hear Gerry share [his] insights,” says Brett McLain, communications chair for the chapter.
All proceeds from the event went to the chapter’s scholarship fund.
