Longhorn Network Announces Texas-Sized Line-Up

The Longhorn Network, UT and ESPN’s new 24-hour cable channel, is set to debut on Aug. 26—and today the network whetted viewers’ appetites by sharing some of its big, diverse programming menu. This is the second time the channel has released descriptions of programs since June.

Longhorn Legends – Mack Brown and stars like Ricky Williams and Vince Young will talk football.

The Season: 2005 Texas Longhorns – A retrospective of the much-celebrated 2005 championship season.

Texas’ Greatest Games – A top-ten countdown of the best football games in UT’s history.

Texas’ Greatest Athletes – Another top-ten countdown of the best athletes across all sports in UT’s history.

Traditions – From Smokey the Cannon to Bevo and Big Bertha, this program will take a look at UT’s unique fan traditions.
