If You Want the Longhorn Network, Call Your Cable Provider Now
With the launch of the Longhorn Network behind us and the Rice game only days away, there can be no better time to call your cable provider than right now.
In the last couple weeks, we at The Alcalde and the Texas Exes have gotten hundreds of inquiries about the network. We ask our friends at Athletics and at ESPN, and they invariably say they are working on finalizing deals.
And the latest rumors are that ESPN is closing in on inking agreements with some big cable providers. The moment for alumni and fans to call their cable providers and ask them to carry the Longhorn Network is right now. If you’ve done it before, do it again.
