Blaire Luna Pitches 10th Perfect Game in UT History

Sophomore standout pitcher Blaire Luna pitched a perfect game March 17, allowing not a single batter on base, against the previously unbeaten Washington Huskies.

Texas won the game 12-0. It was the first perfect game of Luna’s career and only the 10th in UT softball history. (Cat Osterman threw the other nine.)

Though only in her second season, the Austin native already ranks among UT’s top 10 pitchers of all time in ERA, opponent batting average, wins, complete games, shutouts, strikeouts, strikeouts per-seven innings pitched, appearances, and starts.
