Colt McCoy Proposes To His Girlfriend At DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium (And She Says Yes)

Colt McCoy may not have a National Championship ring, but the past week has been nothing for him to cry about. Fresh off of winning the AT&T National Player of the Year Award, McCoy can add another accomplishment to his list — he won the girl.

The Houston Chronicle reports that in a proposal it’s probably safe to say only Colt McCoy could get permission for, he took his No. 1 fan and girlfriend, Rachel Glandorf, to Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium Monday night where the Jumbotron read, “Will You Marry Me?” When she turned around, the quarterback had taken a knee. Glandorf went to Baylor, where she was a track star, and in 2008 she interned at Austin’s KEYE-TV and reported on McCoy and the UT football team.

No doubt the ring she got was one to rival a National Championship ring.
