Photo Contest Searches for ‘Longhorn Swagger’

Swagger is more than just a walk—it’s confidence, style, and how you present yourself to the world.

To reward students who showcase the most UT pride, the Division of Housing and Food Service has organized a first-ever Longhorn Swagger Contest. To compete, both incoming freshmen and returning students submitted a photo of themselves decked out in their Longhorn best—from T-shirts to hats, Snuggies, rally towels, and more.

“We want to promote Longhorn pride while showcasing that living on campus is great for not only new Longhorns, but current Longhorns as well,” says Alison Kothe, the division’s marketing coordinator of housing reservations.

Out of almost 100 submissions, the 40 most unique photos were selected to compete for the most “likes” on the division’s Facebook page. Five winners will win bags of UT swag, including UT T-shirts and gift cards to the University Co-op.

So who has the most Longhorn swagger? Cast your vote here before voting closes Aug. 28. The five winners will be announced the following day.
