Longhorn Builds Global Community Through Art
In partnership with the Nashville-based nonprofit Athentikos, Lindsey Bailey, BFA ’08, will travel to Central America this summer as part of Creative Impact Guatemala to help facilitate creative projects, encourage storytelling, and support sustainable, community-led development through the arts. For more than 25 years, Bailey has taught, exhibited, and presented internationally, using visual arts as a catalyst for engagement and a tool for cultural exchange. She currently serves as a visual arts educator at the International Community School of Addis Ababa in Ethiopia and is developing an artist residency in northern Portugal.
