On President’s Day, the LBJ Presidential Library has released a new PSA featuring actor Matthew McConaughey.
“The legacy of Lyndon Baines Johnson is a country where every citizen has the right to vote, a country that values education, and a country that protects the civil rights and liberty of its citizens,” McConaughey says in the ad. “How has LBJ’s legacy affected you?”
McConaughey is no stranger to supporting UT causes: in a 2011 Longhorn Network ad, he urged football fans to be good sports.
The LBJ Library reopened on Dec. 22 after a major redesign.
