Brazos Valley Chapter Celebrates Summer—with Football Greats
They may live in Aggieland, but the Texas Exes Brazos Valley Chapter wears burnt-orange all the more proudly for it. Joan Moore, BS ’74, Life Member, shared this photo from the chapter’s Summertime Social & BBQ, held on July 11 in College Station (“Yes, there ARE Longhorns in College Station!” Moore assures us.)
David Thomas, ’06, who led the Longhorns to a 2005 National Championship in football, was the day’s featured speaker. Thomas was introduced by another National Championship team member, Derek Lokey, ’06, who also happens to be the chapter’s 2013-14 president.
