The Texas Exes Montgomery County Chapter held a student send-off celebration Aug. 9 at Los Cucos in Shenandoah, Texas. In attendance were 13 Texas Exes, 19 UT freshmen, and five parents. After the new Longhorns introduced themselves, everyone enjoyed Mexican food and some free UT gear.
“We were so pleased that so many Montgomery County Freshman came,” says Sheila Rusk, BBA ’77, the chapter’s membership chair. “At the end of the evening, we sang ‘The Eyes of Texas.'”
