Ah, football season. It had its moments of gold (a victory for the ages against A&M) and lumps of coal (post-traumatic stress from the Baylor loss).
Now it’s time to come party and celebrate our home team. Somewhere sunny and warm.
That’s where San Diego and the Holiday Bowl come in.
We’ve had some great moments there in the past. In 2007, we beat Arizona State with Colt McCoy as QB, and in 2001, we topped Washington with Major Applewhite leading the team. This year’s matchup against Cal is shaping up to be fun, too.
The Texas Exes San Diego Chapter is throwing a bash on Tues., Dec. 27, at a downtown bar, with Shiner sales and some special UT guests. Buy tickets here.
Or if you’re willing to leave the trip to chance, enter to win this Longhorn Network Bowl Giveaway package. Not only does it include airfare and hotel, it also gives the winner behind-the-scenes ESPN and even pregame field access.
