Flying Longhorns Bring Burnt Orange To Ireland

Flying Longhorns in IrelandA group of Flying Longhorns  members of the Texas Exes who travel the world in burnt-orange style  is currently in Ireland as part of the 2010 Enchanting Ireland trip.

The posse paused for a photo at Muckross House, near Killarney, County Kerry, Ireland, and some nice Japanese tourists took their photo. Here it is. Looks chilly!

On this trip, the Flying Longhorns will tour Dublin and Trinity College, home of the Book of Kells. They’ll see St. Patrick’s, the national cathedral, and explore Galway and Kerry counties, including the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, and Connemara.

They’ll also enjoy a feast at Dunquaire Castle in Galway Bay.

Have you been raring to travel somewhere new? Care to spend the holidays in New York City, cruise the Panama Canal, or tour northern Italy?

  1. Manuel says:

You guys should take a UT garden gnome and photo him everywhere!

  2. I agree with Manuel: You guys should take a UT garden gnome and photo him everywhere!

  3. I’ve passed this suggestion on to Jere Davis, director of the Flying Longhorns, and she loves it. She has already started looking for a UT gnome.

  4. Hey this is exciting!!! It’s a bit wet here at the moment but they should have a great time – they look really cold in that photo! Dunquaire Castle is a beautiful spot and they should really try to make it down to dingle peninsula in Kerry – unbelievable views.
