Students Return to the Forty Acres (Slideshow)

UT students have been back in the classrooms for a week now and campus has returned to its busy self. Sidewalks and buses are packed, student organizations are recruiting, and books are being bought. Some are even being read. 

Alcalde photo intern Iris Camille Claudio captured some of the hustle and bustle of the start of the semester — and a few students who weren’t quite ready to give up their lazy days of summer. 

Check out her photos, and before getting too nostalgic for your days on the Forty Acres, remember the high temperatures have been pushing 100. Be grateful for your education and air conditioned offices.
